Kedleston Hall
Kedleston Hall is a breathtaking neoclassical mansion in Derbyshire, designed almost entirely by Robert Adam in the 1760s and widely considered his masterpiece. The great marble hall, modelled on a Roman basilica, is one of the most spectacular interiors in England. Unusually little altered since Adam's time, visiting Kedleston is like stepping directly into the height of Georgian taste and ambition.
