Rainham Hall
Rainham Hall is a fine early Georgian merchant's house in the London Borough of Havering, a rare survival of prosperous eighteenth-century taste within the eastern reaches of Greater London. Built around 1729 for sea captain John Harle, its well-proportioned brick facade and elegant interior speak of mercantile confidence and civic pride.
