Shaw's Corner
Shaw's Corner near Ayot St Lawrence in Hertfordshire is the modest Arts and Crafts house where George Bernard Shaw lived for over 40 years until his death in 1950. The rooms remain much as he left them, full of his personality and wit, and the garden contains the famous revolving hut he used as a study, turning it throughout the day to follow the sun. It's an unexpectedly intimate portrait of one of Britain's greatest playwrights.
