Winkworth Arboretum
Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey is a hillside woodland garden planted with a remarkable collection of rare trees and shrubs, best known for its spectacular displays of autumn colour and spring azaleas and bluebells. Established in the 1930s by Dr Wilfrid Fox, it cascades down a hillside above two tranquil lakes, with winding paths revealing fresh vistas at every turn.
